Germany's multi round selection process for the International Physics Olympiad, run by the IPN in Kiel for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. An extended home assignment round each spring and summer narrows the field before a school based exam in autumn and further rounds that choose the five students who form the German IPhO team.
